The new sensory garden named after Annabel, a very popular Hub user who sadly passed away earlier this year officially opened today.
We were delighted to welcome her parents, Gary and Michelle to the opening. The garden will stimulate all the senses and features a relaxing water feature, raised planters, translucent objects, wind chimes and a few small furry animals, there is even a hanging herb garden for taste stimulation.
Annie’s Garden was made possible thanks to lots of very generous donations and some hard graft put in by volunteers, staff and their families and the young adults themselves. A very big thank you to all of you who donated money, time and materials to make Annie’s Garden such a wonderful sensory experience.
